Here is a list of some of the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about our electronic manufacturing services we receive here at Cascade Systems Technology.

What files do I need to provide in order to get an assembly quote?

Gerbers, Native CAD (if possible), Bill of Materials with manufacturer’s part numbers and reference designators, and assembly drawings.

My files are too large to send via email. What options do you have for large file transfers?

CST has an FTP site that we can provide a login for. Other options include delivery on a flash drive or if your company uses their own FTP site CST can access the files via that route.

I don’t have complete files to send. Will CST still be able to provide a quote with minimal data?

Depending on the amount of information provided CST may be able to provide a budgetary quote.

What is ISO 9001 and why is it important?

The basic guidelines of ISO are: say what you do, do what you say, and have proof that you are doing it. ISO is there to make sure all processes and procedures are being followed which will ensure that your products are built to your specifications reliably and consistently. Can CST supply all components and the PCB for my build?

Yes. CST is flexible on component sourcing. We can provide everything or, if you so choose, we can provide only what you want us to provide.

Who is my main point of contact at CST?

The Account Managers will be your main point of contact. CST has a team of Account Managers and one will be assigned to you after you submit a request for quote (RFQ).
